this site is extremely useful and nowhere it is promoting a particular religion or so....its an effort to understand our religion and then respect other religion. "hindu sanskruti always believed in what they say in management as "win-win situation that is u and me both are good and both arewinners. if somebdoy can find fault with even this then better they should not visit such sites.

A very good website.I was myself looking for such kind of website that can help all of us in the better development of children. I wan't that the schools in India need to give some kind of training to the teachers, so that they will also know in a better way how to deal with children, with a religious touch.

In the stories page along with the text matter if there is some visual in between with more frequency it will help attract and retain attention.
We hope our readers will contribute. Uncle Pai from Amar Chitra Katha should be able to give some guidance for this social cause.

I was asked by a 4 year old in our temple - what does it mean to be a Hindu ?
I would like some help with this.

How do I explain to a 4 year old what it means to be a Hindu ?
How can they explain to their friends when they are asked this question.

Christians say they follow the teachings in the Bible and go to church and pray to Jesus Christ.
The simple explanation I gave was Hindus pray in the temple to our Gods.
I do not feel satisfied with this answer and would greatly appreciate some help in this regard.
